Where do we shop?
I always try to shop small so will keep updating this page as I find new businesses that I'd recommend.
Leads and Collars
Leads and collars we like to buy are from Me & the Bear. 'Each and every item is handcrafted to order from our cabin in the South Down’s National Park, using high quality, outdoor ready materials.'
Albee has martingale collars and Holly has clasp collars from this small business. I do like things to match so of course they have matching leads and a treat bag! Our walks tend to be muddy and wet and the retro collars and leads are great in those conditions. 
Recently Holly has moved over to an agility tag and I wish I had done it sooner! No more jiggling noise or risking it getting caught- as she is so short I do think normal tags must be annoying. Albee will also be getting one as soon as they are available for his martingale. Hollys tag is from Twiggy Tags.
Food & Treats
We raw feed and treats are generally natural with a very few exceptions.. the occasional wotsit is consumed.. There is a shop local to us called Raw Essentials that has a range of both raw food and treats that we use as well as Able raw food. Our favourite treat suppliers are Pawfect Nature and Shepard and Friends. The owners of both of these businesses are incredibly helpful if you have any questions. We get everything from lambs ears and squid to slow feeders from them.
Human apparel
If like us you'd like your pet embroidered on clothes then Nemo & Crew are our go to small business. Nemo & Crew is owned and run by Lenny who has 8 dogs, one of which has three legs and is called Nemo. 'All the design and embroidery is done here in Devon'. Everything we have bought has washed really well and includes numerous hoodies, a gillet, leggings, t-shirts and sweatshirts. All of which had different outlines on them.
Dog accessories
For made to measure jumpers and coats Dashing Daxies is our first stop. They also do snoods in different sizes.
When you need something a little 'extra' Pablosaurus is the award winning home for toys, handmade bows, tutus and crowns to name a few items.
Another small business that we love for snoods and mufflers is Refurrrb. The mufflers are great for dogs that are scared of fireworks and thunder! Highly recommend the wheat bags as well for pets and their humans.
As you might have noticed Albee and Holly are dachshunds, Albee is a standard and Holly is a mini. They use a Sausage Pit car seat to travel in, it would be suitable for up to a medium sized dog. These two have travelled much better since getting their travel seat so it was a worthwhile buy.
