About us..
The AlbeeDax team is made up of one human and two dachshunds. We aim to help make your dogs cosy and comfortable whilst remaining accessible and supporting other small businesses by buying materials used from them where we can.
The core products are made to measure crate sets, snuggle sacks and blankets that can be personalised.
A new addition to our site are items for pets with either medical needs or golden oldies (maybe even puppies that may still not be toilet trained or are poorly). These are things that would have made our lives slightly easier during one of Hollys multiple IVDD or medical episodes.
The human does everything including the cutting, sewing, admin and posting while Holly and Winston share the position of product tester.
The main charities we support are The Red foundation and Dedicated to Dachshunds.
Holly is from The Red Foundation as was Albee. Albee was surrendered to them due to fear reactivity but is the sweetest boy once he trusts you. Holly was surrendered off her legs due to IVDD. She is definitely my little medical marvel Velcro dog after 5 IVDD episodes, a stroke and long term colitis.
Thanks to Holly being such a good foster mum we’ve also fostered for The Red foundation.
Winston is from Many Tears and wasn’t a planned addition.. He was surrendered by a breeder that couldn’t sell him. Winston is growing up to be a particularly social young man though and just loves playing.
