These bumpers/ bolsters are multipurpose and aimed at dogs who are on crate rest or recovery. Specifically at those with IVDD but they may help in other circumstances where crate rest/ rest is required. 

This listing is for cosy Sherpa or Teddy with the approximate dimensions of 95cm for each ‘long’ arm and 50cm for the shorter middle section. The total approximate length is 240cm. 

Bumbers will make crate rest a bit more comfortable and cosy as well as keeping drafts away. They are secured to the crate or pen via ties at multiple points if required. They can also be used in a pushchair such as those used by Dedicated to Dachshunds.

Some of the bumpers are suitable for support around the body and can be attached at the ends to encompass them in an ‘O’,  ‘U’ or ‘L’ shape.

Each one can be made to your specifications as every case is different. Options include shape such as flat or round, height or fabrics. Other sizes available on request.

Due to the nature of IVDD and medical issues the bumpers are machine washable and dry very quickly on a radiator with removable inners. They can be tumbled on low. I can make waterproof inner covers if requested.

The inner has a breathable cotton outer incasing anti allergy filler. 

Bumpers will be made and posted as a priority. If other items are ordered that are made to order and you’d like the bumper posting as a priority ahead of your other items please place separate orders.

If you would like matching items you’ll be able to find most under crate sets or blankets.

There are ties at the long ends to make the bumper enclosed. There’s also ties on each end of the shorter section so the bumper can be attached to a crate at multiple points.
